1. Origin: P6 rice variety is selected, produced and distributed by Quangbinh Seeds One Member Limited Company.

2. Variety characters:

- Duration: Medium duration in different locations as below:

  - Plant height 90 - 100 cm, growth well, well branch developing and concentrating, straight leaves and dark green color.

  - High yielding and stable from 70 to 80 quintal/ha.

  - High quality of rice, transparent rice, tender, testy, light fragrant.

  - Cold resistance, rather induce for intensive farming.

  - Suitable for cultivation in Winter-Spring season on many kinds of soils.

3. Production direction

3.1. Soil: Suitable for medium and low lands.

3.2 Timing: Base on the local direction, can be referenced below calendars:

- Northern part to Nghe An: Spring broadcasting from 5^th to 20^th of January, transplanting when seedlings have 3-3.5 leaves for seedlings produced on hard yard, 4- 4.5 leaves for seedlings produced on mud field. Summer-Autumn broadcasting from 10^th to 20^th of May, transplanting when seedlings have 12-15 days old. Plant density 45- 50 brushes/m², 2-3 plants/brush. Seed rate per ha is 40-45 kg.

- From Ha Tinh - Thua Thien Hue: Winter-Spring broadcasting during 5^th – 20 th January, Summer-Autumn broadcasting during 15^th – 30^th of May. Seed rate for 1ha is 80-90 kg.

- Central Coastal region and Highlands: Winter Spring broadcasting during 1^st-15^th of January, Summer Autumn broadcasting during 10^th-30^th of May.

3.3. Fertilizers: To have high yielding, it need to be fertilized balance, deep dressing first application soon and concentrated. Fertilizer doses based on the soil types and cultivation practices as rate: 100 - 120 N, 70 - 80 P₂O₅, 80 - 90 K₂O.

Recommendation: Use SaoViet NPK specialized for rice, dose and application as direction on the bag.

3.4. Cultivation practices: Controlling water level based on the growing stages of rice, gap filling and apply first fertilizer soon for early and concentrate branch creating and balanced growing and developing to produce more effective heads and reduced the diseases and insects.

3.5. Controlling pests: Visit the farms frequency to find and control the pest early and in time as direction of the local Plant Protection Departments.
